kevinalleinParticipantOne more question:
When I disconnect that flex cable visible in the pic on the right, 3/4 of the display is working correctly. However, once I connect that cable, the rest of the display gets disturbed. I assume, that the gate drivers only on the left are working correctly, but as soon as I connect the right side (as seen from the front of the TV), the left side gate drivers create a problem. However the source drivers (except for the burnt one) seem to drive the colomns. How could I disconnect the gate signals so that I get a display output with only one stripe missing instead of an entire quarter?

kevinalleinParticipantI tried now several times, but when I copy and paste, it shows up in this dialog window, but once I submit, there is no entry from me. Is there a limit in file size ?
I do not know, where I could upload the image to post a link
kevinalleinParticipantCan I attach a picture here or only an URL ?
kevinalleinParticipantWhen that leftmost panel driver is disconnected, 3/4 of the screen are working nicely. Originally the panel had the well known blown resistors for KS series. After I fixed those and the 3/4 part of the panel was working, I connected that last driver again. Now one of the COF chips responsible for the short burnt some trace of the flex cable. I assume this means, that this part now is beyond repair. I would like to understand, whether I did have any other option.
kevinalleinParticipantSorry for responding in English, but I do not speak French.
I also have a UE55KS7090 with exactly the same problem. I suspect, that one of the chips mounted on the Flex PCB (COF) causes that problem. Did you ever find a solution ?
Merci
